2006 MINIs on the dragon - Drive-In Movie

I just want to let everyone know that has not heard yet, we are doing a drive-in at this years MOTD.

We have a few things to announce concerning the event:
? MyMINIParts.com is renting the movie from SWANK with his sponsorship of the club.
? OutMotoring.com is donating some money to sponsor the pre-show.
and last but not least!
? MINI USA has given us a substantial amount toward the rental of the projector.

If anyone would like to help out while we are up there, please let me know. If you have some skills for putting together a short 15 minute movie for the pre-show, I need your help also.

You're running the movie off your powerbook right?

What if everyone puts the pictures they take the first couple days at Dragon into iPhoto then you can make a slideshow quicktime movie and just show that. You can add music if you want but don't have to. People love to see themselves up on screen We can do that in a snap at the Dragon.

How about Friday lunch? We can drive to Highlands, do some waterfalls, drive some REAL twisties, see some beautiful scenery, and return.

Sounds great! Can you plan it out? I need to be back and working before 4 or 5pm. I'll need help with setep also. Unless we do this on Saturday since nothing is planned for that day at all! (suggest BEER SWAP to be moved)

Saturday would be fine. There would be more people on the road. I, too, am hoping the beer swap does not conflict with the movie. The only thing that would change that is if it rained Friday. Then the beer swap would still be on Friday and the movie would be before the midnight run.

It is Friday night. I dont know who will be there to help. I have heard from a few that they will be there.

I stopped up to the Dragon this past weekend, and am looking forward to MOTD 2006. I should be getting there around 3pm, so if you need any help with anything let me know. I'll be happy to help out!

Late notice, but I just confirmed today I will be going to MOTD...
I had registered for the weekend and the movie some time ago but hadn't caught up with the friend that invited me for some time, he has a room at the Fontana that I will be splitting with him..
I'd be willing to help out Friday with whatever you need, I don't have a club t-shirt yet, if you are bringing some with you Mark I could buy a large from you..
