The women and men of Tarheel Sports Car Club (http://thscc.com) are excited to again be able to offer the Chicks-Only Autocross School, Saturday, May 20th at the Danville VA Airport. This event is to provide an opportunity to introduce autocross to women who may be totally new to the sport, as well as an opportunity for women who have been participating only a short while to get additional seat time and instruction -- all in a low-key, no-stress, testosterone-free environment.
The Chicks-Only School is just that, a school for female students, organized and instructed by females. We will follow the same format as that of previous THSCC Chicks-Only Schools, that is, NO MEN WILL BE ALLOWED ANYWHERE AT THE SITE (this includes students' husbands and boyfriends)! Some of the women -- and men -- were initially skeptical about this format, but concensus after the previous schools has been that it is a perfect format for women to get the most out of a school.
