My car didn't quite make it a year and I have a crack along the bottom. I don't have the glass coverage on my insurance. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've heard of some people having problems with seals, mirror's falling off etc. I would like to avoid that. Also, I wonder if a Mini windshield costs more since there are less of these cars on the road.

I got dinked about a month ago for the first time in 3 years. Followed a gravel truck a little too closely on the freeway. Heard the pop, didn't see the starburst - thought I got away with it, but when I came out to the little guy at the end of the day, there it was, two thin cracks at the bottom of the windscreen on the passenger side.
I am at 55K miles, so I'm out of warranty in every way possible and searched online for a windshield. Came up with 89glass.com. They did an excellent job I ordered it on Tuesday, the job was done by Thursday and that was with the rain sensor option. All for the low, low price of $345...which shocked me.
That said, I would totally check with Flow to see if they will cover it before spending an money.
Good luck and let us know what happens!

Thanks for the advice. If it's covered under warranty, you just saved me big bucks.

Is it covered under the maintenance or mechanical warranty? Just found out my "maintenance" warranty expired 13/31/07 but I have several rock places in my windshield..and it appears that 2 hairline cracks are forming on the driverside in the cockpit?? so it looks like i Need someone to replace it soon!
