Couldn?t take pouring the gas into the Avalanch every week and watching my wallet shrink at the pump so finally after three years of watching the Mini's drive by me I sold the 16mpg truck. My Mini is in and I am picking it up today, Lightning Blue with white top, mirrors and stripes, cold weather package, blue tooth, fog lights custom white rims and a few more options. The wife and I are looking forward to hooking up with the group as soon as time allows for a meet and greet. We live in the Oak Ridge/Stokesdale area. Steve

Sorry I wasn't able to join the group . . maybe next week. smoloney, I'm sure you figured out the MINI guys when you arrived at Indigo Joe's . . . No problem firuring out where to park either!

A belated welcome to the club smoloney! I'm sure you'll love the ride, and don't sweat it, there's lots of things you can do to get your mini back down to a comparable gas mileage to your old avalanche :)

Wecome, I also sold a gas pit to get my MINI (99 Dodge Ram 4x4 12mpg). This is much more fun!!!!

I modified my R50 with a JCW Sound kit and actually get better gas mileage:). It's all what you what to do.

I will get a couple pics this weekend, found everyone easy enough at Indigo Joes. I believe there were 8 minis lined up in the lot. Havnt had so many people checking out my ride as a drive around since I was a kid and had a 79 Camoro all jacked up. So far the mini has been fun! it sure does draw alot of attention.
