I like my PIAA 540s a lot, and they aren't too expensive even though I got them as a christmas present. Dan from Grassroots Garage in Thomasville installed them for me for somewhere around $200-$300. I can't remember :p
They work great, and come as a kit with everything included, with proper wiring, etc.. Compliments the highbeams nicely as I can aim them towards the sides of the road to keep on the lookout for parked vehicles, deer, cops. :D

I have to say I didn't think the lights were as powerful as I thought they would be before they were installed. But, I've read that more powerful bulbs can be installed quick and easy, with no problems with the wiring.

Thanks for the plug, HotRod. The labor was $268, and I now can sell this light kit for $260+tax.(used to be $300, but I found a better source).
Do You mind if I use your pic for my website?(shoot me an e-mail)
I also have brackets that mount to the inner bumper to locate the lights lower. Here are some pics, they are $160 for a pair and an additional $40 labor.

I also wanted to mention that I recently installed the Alta light bar on our fearless leaders car (twister), and it was a pretty miserable job . In fact, I would hate to be a DIY guy in my home garage installing this. It involved some re-engineering of their kit to make it fit.

But it looks fantastic!

YEAH,
It does look good. I think we got lucky that it ended up straight ;)
I may have to charge extra to install them however
Trick , to answer your ?, It is totally a matter of personal taste. I like the PIAA's myself. They install closer to the factory lights than any of the others. I think they are easy, but I also have 300+ installs under my belt.

But I'm not so sure I want extra lights any time soon.
