View Full Version : Leaving This Afternoon

Since I've got a bit further to wander to get to the rally point I'm heading out this afternoon so I don't have to drive all 730 miles tomorrow. My plan is to get to or past Lexington today, and into Waynesboro early enough to run another 30 miles east to Monticello and Jefferson's home tomorrow afternoon.

Then I'll be back to Waynesboro to unload, clean up the Mini and myself and meet and greet before dinner.

Thanks again for the warm welcome and I look forward to meeting everyone!

NP Dave, I was coming ahead regardless! :D

If you're ok with it and get a minute you could let the hotel know I'll be there ahead of you and to let me in. I'd throw my stuff in the room before heading over to TJ's home if I could.

Wish I was heading out in my Mini this afternoon. Doesn't really matter where - just out of the office.:mad:

Is that Lexington, Ky or Lexington, Va? If you want to detour through Roanoke, Va., my wife and I will put you up for the night. Since Courtney has probably already left Mo. if someone can provide me his cell number, I will extend the invitaion to him on the road. I think that I read somewhere that Courtney was a male but it really doesn't matter.
