Ok, SF is a nice place but the roads SUCK! I did get a chance to drive a rental on our last day and I took full advantage of it. I drove north on 101 to Cloverdale, CA about 94 miles north of SF. Took hwy 128 west through a national park with some awesome redwoods and the road was about like 66. then i hit the ocean! PCH hwy 1 was the best! I then drove down the PCH for 125 miles of the most georgous scenery. It was frightning at times also. that night I didnt sleep well thinking I was driving off the cliffs. I would do it all over again in a second. next time I'm heading south to BIG SUR!
