Awesome. I'm very curious... How do you get started? What do I have to do to get some track time?

Griff-
It's not hard to get started, and it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on. This group was www.mazdadrivers.com , check out the website. They'll be back at VIR in June on the Grand course. Very well run, lots of different makes there. Lots of Mazdas, of course, Miatas are fun to run with! First you need a SA2000 helmet or better, gotta get your car checked out to make sure it's in good shape, especially the brakes. Then just show up. I do a hotel, but being in Greensboro, you could even drive up every day. They start early on Saturday, like 7am. At first, everyone is nervous and worried about looking like an idiot, and by the end of the day Sunday, you'll feel very comfortable and a lot more confident in your car and yourself. Other groups are www.chinmotorsports.com and www.tarheelbmwcca.org. I've always heard the bmwcca schools were great, so I'm going to try to get in their next one July 8th and 9th. It ain't free, but hey, I think it's worth it. I feel safer out there than I do on I-40.
We'll talk about it if you're going to Kormanns Saturday.
