There is a spot right here in NC building electric MINI Coopers for a mere $60,000+

That's a little steep. I heard someone say that MINI may be bringing the diesel version over, I hope it's true. 65-75 mpg would be great and the fact that it's a mini is even better.

Dave that article says they will sell future Fiats too.. Has anyone seen the new Abarth 500. Man is it cool.

Not as cool as the MINI of course, but would look cool in the driveway next to the MINI.

Great vid' Thanks for finding/posting it. The fit and finish look surprisingly (sorry Fiat fans), nice!

The only thing I remember about Fiat's is that my buddies Spyder of similar vintage was more of a pain then my '73 MGB! ;-)

Yeah modern tooling and manufacturing has taken even the MINI to new standards:) The difference between the classic Mini and the new MINI in the way things fit together and stay together is like night and day!:)

Yeah like Catseye said they must be looking for ways to bolster their service and parts departments:)
