Post a message here if you want a copy. I will only make a limited number of copies. They should be ready in a week or so.

Mark -

Do you know how big the DVD is? I can help making an image file; download distribution might work if it's not tooo big...

Don't have it in my hands yet, Jason is making it this week. I don't mind mailing it out. I sent him 1500+ images

It'll be about 2.5GB; too big for me to upload using my satellite internet connection. Maybe I could encode a youtube version though.

2.5 gig is too much for my satellite connection. I'll need a DVD.

I'd like to get a copy of the final DVD, and if you'd like to add any of my images, go to my picasa web album page at this site and right-click, then select "save image as."

Jason,
Kathy and I just watched the DVD and loved it. My son and future daughter-in-law also watched it and was thrilled with the music. In fact, I even had to show him the headlight washing video which is also terrific. Thanks for all the work.

Thanks, Mark...only I can't get anything to play it? Dell CinePlayer, Windows MediaPlayer, Apple QuickTime...what gives? Remember, I work on the big iron, not PCs. ;-)

Just stick it in your DVD player with your TV.

My DVD player did not play the entire DVD. It seemed to play Part 1 okay, but Part 2 started with broken sound and irratic pictures then permanently "paused" and Part 3 would not start at all. Neither would "Play All". My new desk top computer tells me that I need to download (purchase) a "decoder" in order to play the DVD but my wife's laptop played the entire thing - no problem. I don't understand. My DVD player seems to play commercial DVD's okay but not the BRP Tour DVD - no idea of why. I can understand that maybe my desk top computer doesn't have all the proper softward to play a DVD and that my wife's laptop does. I guess Dell figures that people that own laptops are more likely to play DVD's than those with desk top computers.
Anyway, great job with the DVD but it would be nice to be able to play it on my DVD player. I just have to figure out if it is something with my (cheap) DVD player or something else. Do I owe someone some money for the DVD - Mark, Jason? It cost money to make and mail my copy. I appreciate the time and effort that went into making (and mailing) the DVD.

I had the same problem trying to view it on my PC .. the default player was PowerDVD and evidently I didn't have that on my PC .. but it was on my laptop so I was able to get it to show there ... it took a while I had to view it one part at at a time (couldn't select PLAYALL) but it did work and it is great ... well, Dave, you might take exception to just one photo ... :D

BTW, was that all the tunnel pics? :(

I think they were out of order .. there were some at the beginning of the CD .. Jason was trying to compile them based on the timestamp on the photos and the ones Courtney took were an hour "earlier" because of the timezone difference ... not sure if more were sent to Jason and pared out (Twister Mark said 1500 images were sent) or if perhaps some didn't come out? Not sure if Courtney would check this forum on a regular basis since he's out of the area but if you PM'd him he could probably let you know if he has a photo of your car that didn't get included ...

ha ha ha ... and I don't actually think that picture does it justice .. or maybe it is just my memory but I swear it was twice as big as it appears .. :)

.. and someone actually referred to it as a "mythical" salad?? just cuz I had it for dinner Thursday and again as my lunch on Friday and still ended up tossing about 1/2 of it lest my new MINI friends think I was psycho for toting the same *amn* pizza salad around for 2 days ..
(my old MINI friends already know I am .. )

Here's just hoping the ice cream sundaes next summer compare!! :D

Sorry everyone who had troubles playing the slideshow, I'll bring copies to the Aug. 9th club blast. I'm going to use a different program that I'm sure will make a viewable DVD for all of you, but they probably won't have menus.
