MCS 2004 Crank Pulley Bolt

Hey people, I've been pretty inactive in the club, but life has a way of getting in the way of your hobbies.

This labor day weekend I have been wrenching on the cooper, putting in a Craven Speed crank pulley. It has gone really smooth. I'm getting ready to put on the new pulley and my only hesitation is re-using the crank bolt. Oh and sever thunder storm over my house:unsure:

This is a pretty special bolt as I've studied it :

1. Can I re-use it? I've read you should replace it.
2. If it's critical , where the hell do you get one?

I took pictures so, I'll post after I have it back together again. Thanks for ideas.

I think you can. I've never heard of anyone not reusing theirs

Thanks Twister. I toasted it a little and it went on easy. Torqued it down :smile:

Need to get the new belt on tomorrow and test.

Drove this A.M. and seems good, still feeling the difference, need to go drive some more. Automatic increase in MPG reported by the computer. Looks like it jumped from about 32 to 34 avg MPG on my highway run.
