November 12th.

We will meet at Lowes Home Improvement on University Parkway in Winston-Salem like normal and drive north to the BRP and then follow it down to the Mill and have lunch. If your interested we can stop off at Chateau Morrisette (http://chateaumorrisette.com) for a wine tasting. I think by then it will be nice and cool and I hope the leaves will be turning and not totaly brown. I think we need to meet at 9:30am and leave no later than 10am. Its approx. a 2 hour drive.

Tours on Saturdays are at 11, 1, 3 & 5 p.m. The cost for adults is $4 each; the tour lasts about 1 hour and includes a tasting of 15 of our wines.

We look forward to having you with us and hope you have a great time!!!

I'm going to plan on this one. I got off work. It should be me+1 wife. :D

I'm interested to know if most of you are going to bring your own picnic or want to eat in the restuarant. I'd hate to be the only one to do one or the other.

Everyone is welcome to join in on the fun! Our motto is TO HAVE FUN!

I'm going up this weekend to get the final plans because some don't care to do the Winery Tour and Tasting. Thats OK, I don't drink wine myself. My initial thoughts are to do the drive in this order: Mabry Mill, Lunch then Winery. We might stop at a few small places but thats another reason to go up this weekend and see what's there and if its worth stopping. There is a olde time general store and a candy factory I'm going to look at.

GAS IS CHEAP IN VA! $238 for regular unleaded!
It was a nice drive up and back. Steve and I had a good time, I can't say much for my 15 year old in the back seat. We found a few other places to stop and see if anyone is interested. Lover's Leap was awesome! What a view of Virginia! There is a candy shop we stopped at also. Not real nice for a diabetic like me but I can stop and smell it can't I?

Oh, the diner we are eating at ONLY takes CASH! So be prepared! The club can't afford to cover everyone's bill, HAHA. It's a nice little diner. Nothing over $6, I don't think. We will be spending a little time near the diner for people to shop and such.

The winery is really nice!
If you want to do the tour, it does cost and does take over an hour. If you want to do tasting and not the tour then walk in and head to the rear of the place and belly up to the bar!

Post here if you have any questions. The weather was nice to us and the leaves had just started to turn. Can't wait to go again!

Tim,
Glad you can make it. Remember to get your Tshirt from me. I made a new thread concerning Deals Gap.

Probably would be a good idea to plan a stop just so people can refill at least for the drive back home.

I'm anxious to go too but not just yet. My car's going to the stereo shop for some last minute tweaking tomorrow and to Flow to get my EML problems fixed on Wed. Then I'll be ready to go. :D

Sorry for the double post...

Got an address for the Lowes? I'm not very familiar with Winston. I can find Flow & Hanes Mall Or if anyone can just give me directions from 40 coming from Greensboro. :D

My steering wheel radio controls are on order. The one I had did not have the proper firmware for a MINI. Oh well. Soon enough... At least it's not changing source and songs at random anymore.

My car's at Flow as I type. Hopefully it will be done tomorrow afternoon. They're replacing the bypass valve on the supercharger. If it's not done tomorrow we may not be there Sat. :( I'm thinking positively though. :D

I still have someone's (Marks?) Blue Cobra 2-Way radio. Sorry about that. Let me know who it is so we can meet up and I can return it. Susan and I had a great time and hope to see you folks again soon!

We probably won't make it this coming weekend. Would you like me to meet you somewhere this week sometime?
