I have not had a discussion yet with Flow MINI, but it appears that my JCW Car Cover, that we have used a lot since getting our car August '08 may have caused fine scratches all across the top of the boot handle. This particular car cover has a window on the back revealing the license plate. It has stitching on the underside around the tag window. We have probably had this car cover on our car for 80% of the past 5.5 months. We have fairly high winds in the mountains, often, blowing the cover off multiple times. It seems the winds and the stitching have caused the scratches. I have used polishing compound, not agressively, to attempt to remove these scratches, to no avail. I post this as a warning for any considering purchase of this type of cover, and seeking any advice. Next time I take Jr in for service, I will point it out to Flow. We have tried taping a small towel over the stiching, but last high winds detached the towel from the underside of the cover. We were frankly skeptical about having tape against the car, anyway. For now, Jr is naked and being exposed to all the elements. (Picture of the cover is in our gallery for those who might wish to see the type I am referring too.

Greg,
What about some wide Velcro, I would use some 2" wide one the cover and only use the soft side
Placing it over the stiching and triming the edge of it that has the nylon backing showing
Know what I mean?

That makes good sense, the loop side of the velcro. It may work, better than what I have now, and I hate leaving Jr. out in the rain and snow (so much snow this year).

Thanks, Mark.
