Thanks for the welcome!

I'm a MINI enthusiast, but not an owner. Hoping to rent a MINI on my upcoming honeymoon (traveling across the state, from Norfolk to Ocracoke, then on to Raleigh and Asheville). The rental companies are driving me a bit crazy though - they only list classes of vehicles and wont tell me which makes they have available.

Do you know of any rental agencies that carry MINIs? I assume that there will be a slight premium for these, but since I'm driving ~800 miles, I expect the fuel efficiency will compensate for some price difference (and the car quality will be radically better).

Welcome George,
It's hard to find MINI's for rent, there are a few sites but they are few and far between. Don't know of any MINI's for rent in NC.

Just jump in and buy one! Then you will not have to go through the tear-jerking scene at the rental counter when they take the keys to the rental. You never have to give your current ride that contemptuous "you sir, are not a MINI" look that we have all given our other rides. You, my friend, could avoid an encounter with an exit ramp that you HAVE to slow down on, that sir, is a lonely feeling. Buy a MINI and avoid the heartache, Stimulate the economy!
