Sorry I've been gone so long, its been a nutty few months. Technically I'm still unemployed, but I've been substitute teaching at my high school, and have inadvertently stumbled into a long term sub position which should last for the rest of the year, which is almost as good as having a full time job. At least its regular and better than unemployment!
At any rate, my husband was able to get the rotors fixed on Stella, (THANK YOU SO MUCH again for the parts and shipping, you guys are amazing!) and I can finally enjoy driving her again. And I got a free "new" grille to jazz up her smile a little.
I am also excited to report that barring any unforseen loss of finances, I'm planning to be there for the blue ridge ride, which I'm pretty excited about. I can't make the dragon, as my sister Graduates from college that weekend, but I'm pretty stoked about the blue ridge one!
Whoooohooo! :ms_yeah:
Anyway, sorry I've been gone so long, hope everyone here has been doing well.

ZOOOOOM!

Yeah!!! Economy be damned... BRP must be Toured!!

Gas prices have dropped to about 1/2 of what they were last year .. and with the economy on a downturn I can't imagine hotels and dining prices have gone up in the past year .. so it may actually be a less expensive trip this year than it was last ..

How's that for rationalization to join us??? :girl_wink:

Hey g/f congrats on the sub job. I read to 1st graders and next Tue they have a sub teacher, and the regular one told me they'd be pretty wild, so it should be a fun class!
;-) Can't wait to see Stella sporting her new mods...

its amazing, that does seem to be an immediate side effect of having a sub. luckily, since I'm now a long term sub, I'm starting to get them under control. They know what they can and cannot get away with, and that I enjoy writing demerits. So far so good. Hopefully I can get a full time spot there next year.
enjoy that class it should be sporting! make sure to load up on coffee that morning!
