Thanks for the welcome! We joined the Mini world last weekend...and cannot be any happier with the decision! Prior to our purchase, I found a lot of help from folks on this site so I look forward to being part of the community.

Last Saturday we met our Mini's first owner at Grassroots Garage (halfway between Charlotte and our house) and got to meet Dan and have him look over the car too. Everything checked out and soon we had a new member of our family....Then, the best part was driving it home taking a "scenic detour" down into the Uwharrie mtns on the way home...can't believe what we've been missing!!

If you enjoyed your "detour" on the way home, you should try to make it out for the Covered Bridge Run on Saturday as we will be winding our way around the Uwharrie Mountains area.
