Dream Fulfilled!!!!!!!

Well, guys, it's done as of this past Friday afternoon.

My Chili Red MINI has been ORDERED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to economize a bit on the extras (I hate being poor!) but I *did* get the Union Jack roof cover, by God!

How does one pass the time until their dream car enters the States and is actually in one's physical control? (Without alienating one's family, of course.) ;-)

Meanwhile, here's hoping that a new '06 Honda Civic LX isn't "persona non gratia" this coming Sat. for the Graylyn MINI tour event thingee? I'm assuming pending MINI owners can participate? (Or can I rent a Mini for Sat. morning, just as a temporary measure?!)

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!

Anticipation is half the fun!

I while away quite a few hours on Mini websites, you can do that reading stuff from like minded folks, and reading about mods, (yes, there are some cheap ones, too).

I look forward to meeting you Sat, (just bought my ticket), no matter what you're driving/riding in, at the time!

Don't sweat it, I took a Tacoma pickup to a Mustang meet one time when my 'stang was in the shop--I'll take reasons to buy a Mini for $500 please ;)

Hey there!

Well at least the Honda will be new! So we'll no doubt be the ones in the greyish Civic LX hatchback bringing up the rear.

It's like I say about my (slow) running in a 5K race or something - SOMEONE has to bring up the rear. Personally I think the slowest runner SHOULD be recognized - for nothing else if not just sticking through 'til the bitter end!
