I'll be leading a morning drive to Tellico Plains from Fontana Saturday leaving at 9:30am. There is a Google map link above of the route we're taking. We will not make this a day long trip. My plan is to find a quick place to eat in Tellico Plains and head right back to Fontana the way we came. This drive is 2.5 hours one way.

There will be a stop at Joyce Kilmer Forest

I highly recommend the tellecafe just on the west end of the Cherohala skyway to eat....... it doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's gooooood!
