Need to have a Mini meet somewhere around Wilmington, it's getting lonesome down here, the only other Mini's I see is while cruising down the interstate....usually with the speed's we're running its hard to wave. ;)

The only twisties around here are the on and off ramps of the interstate, really good one if you are headed east and get off at the 398 mile marker. Another really good one is on hwy 421 south, just after you pass the battleship going around the curve to get on 17N through town. But coming from Clayton to J'ville, can't think of any good spots except straight and flat, but then again you can wind it up too.

I'd go for a meet in Wilmington. I've been to the Beaufort area and the coast is really nice. It would make it more enjoyable to have some tour guides (fellow MINI drivers) for the area too

I know there are Mini's in Wilmington, but don't think there are any Mini Clubs. They have a British Car Club, but I think most of their cars are Austin Healeys. I think there is a group trying to start a club over in Jacksonville but not sure. There was some info over on the Owners Lounge a couple months ago.

Either of you could start a regional club of Tar Heel MINI Motoring Club.
