Triangle MS Walk

Okay, at the Raleigh Meet & Greet, we talked about wanting to do more activities in the Raleigh area. I know that this is extremely early notice but the MS Society starts their planning way in advance. The Eastern NC Chapter of the MS Society, which is my chapter, will be holding their annual MS Walk on Saturday, March 24. I have already spoken with the volunteer coordinator at the chapter and the job that she would love to have the club do is to help set up tables and chairs (for the registration tables as well as for the lunch after the walk) and then for us to move over to check in the participants. For those of you who did the Tour to Tanglewood, you now know that the MS Society's events are a lot of fun and well put together. Parking at this venue has never been an issue....so that is why there is no need for that assignment. But volunteering includes a free t-shirt from the event, free food and of course free smiles. I have volunteered at this event for many years in a row and I look forward to it every year. As I said, I know it is way off in the future but because I am so heavily involved with the MS Society, I would love it if I could show them what the club can do! So, can I get at least an idea of how many would be interested in doing this?

P.S. As it gets a little closer and we get a final count, since I am the contact between the MS chapter and the club, I will need to get everyone's t-shirt sizes. :-)
