No. I am not going to MSSD.:angry: :angry: But I can already tell that's all this site is going to be about for the next week - MSSD caravans, MSSD lodging, MSSD eating, MSSD motoring... My only relief may be once MSSD actually starts as all the participants will be in the land of (mostly) no Internet connections. :thumbdown:

Yesterday, today and tomorrow are perfect!! That happens when I go home to CA in Jan also......be 80 and sunny and I show up and it's 65 and drizzle. Go figure. We'll still be there with bells on!!!!

Frankly, I like it when it rains up there... keeps the motorcycles off the roads and mostly keeps the LEOs at home. And drifting is more fun.

PLEASE everyone STAY IN YOUR LANE, there are no trophies handed out at the Dragon and not only will the locals give you an ear full, you can and will hurt yourself and someone else too... First year I went, on the last day we went back for one more run on the Dragon and had the misfortune of seeing a DEAD motorcyclist who had been run off the mountain by two Miata's running out of their lane.....:thumbdown:

I talk a big game about this stuff - but mark is dead on - know your limits and stay WELL within them - and leave yourself some margin for error. It's VERY easy to ruin your whole day (and maybe whole year, and maybe whole life) up there if you do stupid things...

Thanks guys!! If I had thought this through a little better, I'd have def gone to the Dragon in the spring, knowing this month was a BIG anniversary.... No Dragon this year....:cry:
