Whatta way to meet the Dragon, Hellbender, etc!!:thanks:

Thanks to all. What a awesome weekend! Enjoyed each and every twist an turn. Well maybe not the ones stuck behind the "Impala Conspiracy"......

I could get used to doing Hellbender and the Dragon each and every day at 6:30A!

Take care all, Let me know if your heading up Missouri way. If the Dragon's a "10" we have several "7's" and "8's" for your motoring pleasure

Great meeting you Tim. Some archaeologist millions of years from now will wonder what kind of beasts could have left all the Neo Gen dust we scattered over about 216 miles on Saturday.

Already looking forward to shredding some more tires with you in the future. Don't be a stranger.

That and all the little flecks of Chili Red paint I likely left from the flyin rocks (afraid to look) trying to stay right on your ass!

Oh you'll see me again............

Honestly MOTD seems inherently dangerous with that many MINI's with all the experience levels on one set of roads. MSSD4 on the other hand sounds just grand!

Yeah, the Dragon is a bit hairy during daylight hours at MOTD. But the MINIs scatter out enough on the other roads that it's really not that bad. Most group drives are 20 cars or less - so that's manageable. As long as the pace is properly disclosed in advance and the groups are managed well, everyone tends to have a good time.

But, yes, MSSD is a better driving weekend IMHO. MOTD is mostly about the "experience"... Woodstock for MINIs.

ZOOOOOM!

Geawd I miss 'em! That's why I'm sitting here in 70 degree SF, CA on the laptop instead of down at the Warf...

Tim,

It was nice meeting you and hope to see you at the MOTD in April. Tar Heel Mini's members usually snag one or two cabins so there way be some extra rooms. The Microtel in Robbinsville is clean and reasonable. I arrived this April on a Tuesday and left on Sunday. I got my Dragon fill that week. Here are a few pictures of your trip.

To Tim and All Others Out There,

The way to slay a dragon is best done with other fellow motorists called MINIacs. Thanks for joining us and enjoying some great times, drives, and scenery (during the terrorizing impala's of course).

This one really got me thinking of heading up and finding a couch to bum off of for the spring dragon.

I would really like to be there to see Susan pop her cherry on the Dragon, even if it requires duct tape and seat restraints besides her seatbelt.

Tim

Glad to have had you either behind me or in front of me most of the day on Saturday. Some one with a similar driving style is always welcome. Hope to see you in the spring.

Eddy - nice meeting you too - Both you and Tim (and Paul!) are WELCOME to run with me and the Tar Heels ANYTIME. Big fun. Always good to make new friends from other places at the Dragon.

Let's call a spade a spade Eddy. We're both freakin' nuts behind the wheel! :victory:

Loved every minute!
