Hello everyone,
It's time to think about a date to do our 1st volunteer work. I'll have all the supplies except for poles for picking up items. If anyone would like to make some up or knows where we can get those pickup grapplers, please let me know.

We need to do this 4 times a year and volunteering is the key to success. Our 1.7 mile streach of road is located on the northwest side of Winston-Salem. Its mostly residential and commercial. Most of it is already clean. I drove down it last weekend and it'll be a breeze. Afterwards we'll have lunch at a local place that is owned by a fellow MINI owner and club member. I'll have stuff to give away also! I don't want this to be work, so let's all have some fun!

Looks like the 20th is the date.

I'll be going by the DOH this week to pick up orange bags and vests. I'm not sure how many vests they will provide. I'll get as many as we can!

I just stopped by Pig Pickens on Reynolda Road.

Jimmy has offered us a great discount on our dinner that day! The cost will be $5.50 a person for a nice little buffet. I noticed he isn't set up yet to take credit cards but might by the 20th. So be prepared, I know everyone will be.

Jimmy just revamped the place and is doing a great business! He'll even let us all park together and show off our MINIs.

I'll be there, but my wife does not understand. She can't understand how I can't pick up my clothes around the house, but am willing to pick up trash on the highway.

What and where is Spevco? Is there an address? And do we have a firm meeting time yet?
