I think I remember someone at MSSD having a g force meter app (an actual app, not McDonald's orange juice in a cupholder) on their Iphone. Am I crazy or do they actually have an app like this? One of my friends has an iphone and was interested in downloading it.
Thanks!
Melissa

It does exist, I saw it reviewed by a blog/forum vs the cheapie physical kind. The iphone app was within <5% of the dyno runs. Don't know the name but it was def. a pay for it app.

I believe Ben (Bthayer) has the application I remember him telling me about it. You could PM him for the info.

Yup, I have it. I rarely use it, but it works and it's kinda cool. It'll measure 0-60 runs and it can extrapolate HP figures. I use it for the "skidpad" features, which charts your G-forces (turns, acceleration, and braking) on an X-Y plot. I think it's around $15.

I use it too. It replaced my dedicated Passport G-Timer. Fun for testing before and after performance mods...

The app is Dynolicious. That is the name of the one I have and I think the others. I do think there may be a couple other similar apps.

Just browsing the news and found this:

Take a look - it's missing a few bells and whistles but looks ok for a free app. Will work with both Iphone and iPod Touch.

Dynolicious is kind of pricey... no, really pricey... for an app. Sadly, the BMW M app seems to be a dog from the reviews.
