Who lives in the country, that has a place that I can do a little target practice the week after Christmas? I am trying out a new pistol that I just bought. I need an area that will not bother the neighbors (22 caliber only, but still makes noise), and is safe. Looking for a place that has a hill I can fire into. Will only need it for about 2 hours one day only. Would like it as close to Greensboro as possible.
Thanks

I think there are some indoor target ranges around. One is on south hwy 49 in Alamance county (exit 148) called Handgunners. They have a website called handgunners.com.

Yeah, Rog, I know I can go indoors, but I am looking for an outdoor area. I am scheduled to take a class on the 30th, but need to get used to the pistol first.
I have shot guns since I was 12 so I know how to use them safely, but I need to get used to this gun, before I have to qualify.
