Got my '03 Mini S a couple of weeks ago. Can't help but grin the whole time am behind the wheel. This car is so much fun to drive, I could never have anticipated.

Spent the day with Dan at Grassroots on Friday. Did Miltek exhaust, Craven 15% reduction pulley, short shifter, rear swaybar, Helix intake and downloaded info for new programming (MTH). Must say after watching Dan and talking to him all day, he KNOWS what he is doing. Very refreshing to meet someone who can "walk the walk and talk the talk". Cannot recommend him highly enough.

Got Doug Whalen to cut a new shif knob for me yesterday. He is great as well. Quick response to emails, and amazingly quick service. I sent the final order on Saturday about 2:30 and he sent me pix of the final shift knob by 5:30.

Looking forward to meeting some other tarheel mini enthusiasts. Hope to meet up with the caravan to "the Dragon" in the spring. Working on making reservations so we can go up.

Hello to everyone.
