Just watched an awesome documentary featuring Ewan McGregor and his friend Charlie riding their BMW bikes from England to New York. They go through countries like Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Russia (they drive the Road of Bones..wow.), then load their bikes on a plane and head to Alaska on their way to New York
Anyway, really glad I found it...highly recommended!

Great Show...
Did you catch the part in Mongolia where it was"harvest season" (and not agricultural?)
how about staying at the mafia house (with the people showing them their machine guns?)
There's a few guys (right now) doing an around the world jaunt on 70 year old bikes... Look up the dumb way round ( or just go here http://kccd.no/home_en.html) They passed through Cincinnati a few days ago...

Haha I do think I know the ""harvest" you are talking about (the harvest that most likely yielded an even number?)
The mafia guy was classic..laughed out loud when he came down the stairs to sing his song! You couldn't write something like that
I'll check out that site...those guys are truly nuts

Yes, that harvest... The harvest of animal parts; certain male animal parts. They were boiling them up in a cauldron for dinner. I don't think that was a dinner that the boys looked forward to...
