2010 BRP Tour Maps Posted

This years tour will end in Bryson City, NC. A stop and Soda Pops Ice Cream is necessary!

Help! I can't open the web site for the BRP tour map - I want to sign-up but did need to see the route!

We are going from North to South on Blue Ridge Parkway. So you really do not need a map.
Here is the plan.
Friday June 18th: Waynesboro VA to Sparta NC
Saturday June 19th: Sparta NC to Asheville NC
Sunday Jne 20th: Asheville NC to Cherokee NC (We should get to Cherokee around noon. After lunch, depart for home)

Here is a gpx file for BRP Tour 2010 (http://www.totehmoon.com/uploads/blue_ridge_parkway_2010.gpx). The file includes a total of five routes -

1. From my home to Waynesboro (for those doing the Causey Caravan)
2. Day 1
3. Day 2
4. Day 3
5. Day 3 with detour

Even if you can't use the route feature in your GPS, the file may be useful as it includes numerous points of interest. The hotels and restaurants are in there, some gas stations, some of the stops, Biltmore House, etc.

Remember, use "Save As..." on the link, otherwise it may just open a text file in your browser.
