Anybody up for a MINI field trip to Kings Dominion (http://www3.cedarfair.com/kingsdominion/index.cfm)?? Maybe June 15th - 17th. At posting time, there doesn't seem to be anything planned (http://www3.cedarfair.com/kingsdominion/events/events.cfm) for this weekend. The NC folks and the VA folks could meet up in either Martinsville or Roanoke and take the roads from there together!
It's a quick shot from the highways...but what if we took the biways and made a weekend of it? I will be working up a driving route from the Winston-Salem area to Kings Dominion and will post it in the next several days.
