James has informed us about this Asphalt Adventures event:

He is registered and others are considering, including myself. I was thinking about an event this Fall but was thinking more about Oct or Nov. However, this looks interesting. Anyone know how many track sessions a day these people provide?

I signed up for an event at NCCAR with NASA-SE in the fall, but I might sign up for this today too. Not sure if they have camping provisions (this is one I'd want to camp for), but NASA had their first event there in the spring, which is discussed with pictures in the NASA forums. People liked it a lot and the classroom facility was really nice. It was also noted that tire wear was very uneven right vs left side- worn tires would last longer because the tread blocks didn't rip off as easy. There are no rumble strips there yet.

Edit- I signed up for this. So I'll be at NC Car two weekends in a row.
