All the Triad folks probably already know about this - but I found this on motorcycleroads.us - which is a great resource for finding twisties...

Old Liberty Road (http://www.motorcycleroads.us/roads/nc_olr.html) runs from Asheboro to Liberty - you need to be really careful, because it's much more populated than I'd prefer, and there are THREE one-lane bridges on one section, but it's the twistiest road I've found this side of the mountains...

I had to hunt for it for a while - but it was worth the hunt - it ROCKED.

We have done a drive on this road last year, when we had a meet in Burlington. Can probably do it again one day for those who haven't been.

OMIGOSH! I stumbled on this yesterday, when the wifey and I went to Rising Meadows Farm to check out a little Alpaca festival. (It was my b-day and I always like to to something wacky on my b-days.)

Anyway, we were in her IS350 and I had a pack of bikes shortly behind me coming off 421 and only one was able to catch me--I'm sure his wife/girlfriend on the back was as displeased as mine by the whole thing, but he and I sure had a good time!

Fortunately traffic was really light oncoming and none ahead. I can't imagine how fun that would be in MINICHI, in Sexy Lexy it was definitely a pucker ride, and I don't just mean the one lane bridges!

Maybe we can all go to Farm Fest Six next year? Homemade rootbeer and ice cream make a fantastic float! The only drawback, the drive and parking are not paved, so low riders may not make it in...
