After years of admiring Minis, I am finally lucky enough to own one. I have always thought Minis were "neat" little cars, but could never justify owning one up until now. The kids are grown and the need for a big family vehicle isn't there anymore, so after several months of wanting one, I took the plunge. For me it was a big decision, but after a couple of hours behind the wheel, I wish I had bought one sooner.
I had rather take a beating than have to deal with a car dealer. Hate is a strong word, but I HATE dealing with a car salesman. Or, should I say I did. Scott Mann and Robin Burnett @ Flow Mini made the whole buying experience a pleasure. I have talked or rather bugged Scott for quite a while, stopping by the dealership to look around and dream a little. He has always been very helpful, knowledgable of the Minis, and went out of his way to help me in anyway he could. Once Scott and I made the deal, it was time to do the paperwork. Now this is where I normally would start to get irritated. Sign here, sign there, blah blah blah blah...... But, Robin simplified the process and explained everything in detail as we went through the paperwork. Oh, by the way, she is one pretty young lady. Heck, I'd have signed a few more papers just so I could sit and talk to her a while longer.
Even though I haven't posted here but a couple of times, I've been around for a while reading and learning about being a Mini owner. Thanks for all of the information posted here. I look forward to becoming a more regular member.
