On Sunday April 1st at 2pm we will be at the Nascar Speed Park at Concord Mills. We can get a group discount, at the time of purchase. Nascar speed park has many things to do besides just gokarting. We will meet up in the parkinglot at 2pm and go in as a group. I will get there about 1pm. This should be a great time with the different Go kart tracks and other things they offer. I will post up my cell number a couple of days before for all who are going.

It's free to go in. You can then do as little or as much as you want when in there. I had to meet someone at Concord Mills a few months ago, and I walked around in there and checked it out. There web site isn't working right now, so I can't tell about the prices.

They have multiple tracks inside and out, mini golf, arcade, bumber boats, I think, NASCAR simulators, and of course some really awful junk food.

Best of my memory, the prices are close to $20/race. I got a season pass a year or 2 ago and it was somewhere around the price of $50. $50 to ride all the carts, unlimited (the best of my memory) was well worth the price considering the price per race.

So, basically in less than 4 races, your pass is paid for.

Yeah. I had a decent time just watching other people. I'll probably come if I have the new car then. I'll want to go drive it and won't mind the trip to Concord. It may be available for pickup that Saturday. Not holding my breath though.

I called and got the pricing info.
$30.00 all day pass
$20.00 for 11 tickets
$27.00 for all day pass with 10 or more people. They said the website will be back up by the weekend "hopefully"
The all day passes include laser tag, rock climb,all tracks, and a few others.

Well. That was fun. Wish I had had that number.

Decided to take the scenic route to Concord. Got lost. Showed up at 3pm. I found the MINIs in the parking lot. I walked around hoping to see a Tarheel MINIs T-shirt or someone that I had seen at an earlier event. Gave up after about 45 minutes and went shopping. Had a nice drive there anyway, and I bought a couple of cheap used CDs for the drive back.
