At first, MINI was only bringing R56 Cooper automatics over. This means that 6sp's are now available. Very nice, looking forward to seeing it. I'm partial to Coopers, myself. Turbo shmurbo.

Yep, they had a red manual on the lot last weekend when i was up there. I really wanted to see what it was like to drive. They must be just trickling in, though since it was the only one of about 20 cars.

Congrats...and that color...that beautiful blue color--it even makes the three piece front that I typically don't like, seem fine! Funny how little details make such a difference, the black pin stripe between the white and blue is Perfectomundo! You did good--real good! Can't wait to see it in person.

I ordered it at the beginning of January. It went into production either in the last days of February or the first days of March. It was probably in the first batch of manuals produced for the US.

I ordered the color sight unseen. I scoured the Internet looking for pictures of lightning blue from Europe, but I was never able to see it person until I picked it up. It was better than I had hoped.

In a miscommunication with Flow, I didn't get the boot stripes how I wanted them, but it looks good to me nonetheless.

I'll try to make this upcoming Manic Monday, because I don't have to work on Tuesday.

I was thinking about going to Asheville on Monday morning, so I will probably be coming from the west. If I don't go, I will definitely let you know.

I had Dan at Grassroots put on new springs. I think it looks great now. Brings the 2007 back down where it should be. Here are some quick pictures:
