Anybody at VIR, Sat 4/14?

Hey, weather be d@mned, I plan to make the 2.5hr drive just to make the parade lap at the BMWCCA driving event!

I'll be on channel 7, heading up I85/29N between 8-11am if anybody else is going.

I'll take pics, of course and post here later. Look for me, I'll be in a MINI shirt and wearing some sort of goofy hat. :eek:

Hey, it was good talking with you, and the other MINI owners, and I had a great time! I've never seen/heard that many M3s in one place at one time!

I'll use this post to make all my comments, and put up pic's.

I HAVE to drive that track fast, it's REALLY nice. The lines were easy to find, just going from rumble strip to rumble strip, except for the oak tree, b/c I didn't want to sacrifice 11 to make 12--I just hate to miss ANY apex! ;-)

I have to tell Dan, I wondered how a Chrylser 300M made it on the grounds if it was BMW only, until it got closer and I realized, that's a BENTLEY!

The paper doll is named Flat Stanley, he's from a 1st grader in IA, (sister-in-law's class) and these dolls are sent to people to take them on adventures.

Please post when Flow goes to the track, if you hear about, we'll tag along.

I'm afraid you've got it bad now, Dave. Nothing to be done now except to sign up for some DE's at VIR. You can still get in the Mazdadrivers June 16-17. It's the Grand course, which is pretty much all of the track put together. 4.2 miles, 32 turns!
