So today I had a need for a few more hp. I stopped in at MINI and ordered my JCW Stage 1. I hope it's here Monday to be my birthday present. http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb-up.gif
I bought my 09 MCSCa last Thursday 11-18, had it tinted yesterday 11-22, now waiting for extra boost...

I usually can't leave cars alone. The last one I put a supercharger on and went from 425hp to 630hp. Yes a little much to go get groceries but fun none the less.

Old

2010 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 6-speed B5 Blue. Installed Procharger D1SC after 1000 miles. Went from 425hp to 630hp at the crank. Dynoed 537hp and 502ft-lb at the rear wheel.

From 630 hp to a MINI, I'm sure it's taking a little bit of getting used to. Happy early birthday!

My 02 MSC I installed a pulley, intake , Milltek headers + exhaust , sway bars, Yokohama tires. Yah it was a fun little car. I traded it for a Porsche Boxster S and then onto a handful of other cars...

And to look back to my first car '77 VW Rabbit. I have enjoyed them all...

Hey Wheelie, let us know how you like the stage 1 on the Clubman.

I'm interested as well, what I'm concerned with is the DRONE from the exhaust.

Keep us posted.

Will do. Drone never heard that before ;) Try two Flowmaster 40s with the factory resonators cut out.

The Challenger would break the tires loose on the highway at 60mph. Only do that in a MINI with the ebrake :)

Call RMW. ;)

I looked into that but isnt he in Cali? I like dealing with local tuners so you don't get stranded.

Been running his tunes for over two years and never been stranded. Great stuff and Dan at Grassroots or Sneed's can install the hard parts and assist you with getting the most out of your Mini! There are options especially for the R56 for remote tuning as well. Give Jan a call, he's a club sponsor here and will be happy to discuss your options.... tell him I sent you. ;)

PS: Not long ago he got 300 ft pounds of torque from a R56 JCW with only a IC and tune; pump gas!!

The JCW toys came in this morning. I'm driving a loaner Clubman S 6-speed for the time being. I should have my car back soon...

I have heard of quite a few stalling and hard start issues with the JCW Stage 1 and the auto trans. Hope for the best and keep us posted!

So the dealer can't program my car, it's been there since 10am EST. They said the problem is on the other side. They are going to try it again tonight and if it fails will try in the morning. http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif
Now I'm stuck driving a loaner with dealer logos and huge numbers on the side. http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/images/smilies/sly.gif

I made sure to ask the parts department if the stall issue had been fixed. They said yes. Granted they gave 20% off, I am still without my car.

Any luck today? Did they get it programmed?

No such luck. They did swap out my loaner.
They can't get MINI in Ohio to generate off a code to push the new software to my car.
They will try again Monday.
The troubles have picked me up another 10% off. I got 20% to start with for the holiday special.
So $2100 minus 30% is looking better.

Wow...10% a day...I'd let them keep it for a couple more days!!

Good luck, hope they can get you up and running.

Well, any luck? Just curious as to whether they got it programmed and how you like it.

I just picked my car up this afternoon.
Yes, the extra money was worth every penny. Plus the 20% discount on the kit and 10% on the labor, have me extra $$$ in my pocket for my birthday today.
I have no drone at highway speeds. My noise is coming from the run flats.
I love the new intake sound and exhaust note.
