Message from Hendrick MINI:

Join us as we team up with the MINI Motoring Club of the Carolinas and the Tar Heel MINI Motoring Club to rally to and through McAdenville, NC... also known as Christmastown, USA! We will leave Hendrick MINI at 6:00pm and rally to the Dairy Queen at 7015 E WILKINSON BLVD in Charlotte. After dining and mingling, we will continue to rally through Christmastown, USA.

Be sure to bring a toy to Hendrick MINI for our annual Toys for Tots. If you have any questions, contact Stephen Lane at (704)566-2513.

Note from Kristen on FB: Our rally through Christmastown, USA (McAdenville) is Tuesday, December 21st! We had a lot of fun last year so be sure to make some time to join us with your family. We will leave Hendrick MINI at 6pm and stop at the Dairy Queen at 7015 E Wilkinson Blvd. Meet us at the Dairy Queen if that is closer for you! I think I am gonna say I am in on this as well! I will be in Winston anyways at FLOW, so why not stay out and about and drive on down to Hendrick MINI. Haha.

Had a good time tonight at the drive. Saw some really nice MINIs and had some good conversation. I think some of the kids out there enjoyed our convoy as much as they did the lights, I had my window down a bit and heard "Oooh, more Coopers!" on a couple of occasions.:yeah::yes4:

Sidenote: traffic was ridiculous and that wreck did not help.:nono: I knew there would be a lot of people but I wasn't expecting so many. Can you tell this was my first Christmastown Rally?

I concur... good time had by all. sorry I didn't get to chat with more folks but the kids keep us pretty occupied.
Had a nice twisty ride home through the backroads back to Mooresville (kids asleep in back.)
