Saw from Flow Mini's Facebook page that they are having a Countyman bootgate(tailgate) event on January 8th. Does anyone have any information about this?

Haven't heard a word about it.... Used to get emails from them all the time on events, but none in a long time.

Looks like Winston-Salem. Can't find a time though.

Hmm, just had a post come up in FB that says the bootgate party is tonight from 6:30 - 9:30. Of course, they describe it as an "all day" event. I'm leaning towards someone at Flow MINI having trouble working the FB.

I think you're right. I've left a comment asking which date is correct. When you create an event doesn't it start with the current day by default? They probably just missed changing that field.

Flow Mini responded and fixed the event. They now have it listed for January 8th, 9am to 7pm at Flow Mini in W-S. They've also posted a picture of a few countryman that arrived.

When I was there yesterday the sales guy I talked to said it had been moved to the 15th and the web site had been updated??? Sounds like they need one person in charge of events.

Yep, FB and their web site have now been updated to Jan. 15th. Too bad - I probably would have stopped by on Jan. 8th. Can't make the 15th.

Sounds like they are a bit confused themselves over there...

I never got an email announcing the event in the first place, did anyone else receive one???

Looks/Sounds like they must just be posting stuff on FB and their website instead of sending out e mails..
I haven't gotten an e mail from them in a long time, and don't do the FB thing..

That would be very short sighted... Wonder what the percentage of Mini owners is that actually follow their Dealership on FB?

Probably not many, I do but only because someone sent me the link to add them.

I agree that FB and the website are only going to be seen by a limited audience. If they have a distribution list in place already, email is by far a much better way to reach the highest number of owners.
