Here's my new ride!

Hello all,

Club newbie here, I have been hanging out on NAM since March researching my new MINI. She's an 06 MCS CR/W with bonnet stripes-panther black/anthracite interior-sport/premium/sirius.

I am having trouble keeping it under 4500 rpm for the break-in-it's just way too much fun to listen to the supercharger whine!

Be sure and check out the "NC Area Events" section for new happenings down in your area. The Raleigh area is planning some get togethers that you may be interested in.

Congrats! She's a beauty! And yeah, break-in miles are tough...

Definitely come join us for some Raleigh-area meets and events - I drive to Greenville on business frequently and its REALLY quick now with the highway improvements all done. And really easy for you to get to where we're doing our monthly meetings at Brier Creek - just jump on 540 from 640 and zoom around the north side of Raleigh. Should literally be about an hour and 15 minutes from the middle of Greenville. Maybe even a few minutes less depending on how fast you drive. :cool:

Sounds great! Whens the next meeting? The new Knightdale bypass and 540 have really made Raleigh an easy trip-I fly out of RDU pretty often so I have really enjoyed the new routes.
