Among the different kinds of auto glass tinting commercially available, what you’ll want to get is ceramic car tinting. It will do a better job of protecting and decorating your car than polymer film tinting. Compared to OEM tinting, it’s cheaper and more importantly, it’s far easier to obtain service for it. Most cars with OEM tinting come out of the factory that way with no protection from the Ultra Violet and Infra red rays & are difficult to replace.

What makes Ceramic car tinting special is that is uses Ceramic with sunscreen protection that has very good bouncing back invisible rays, like ultraviolet and infra red, but at the same time will allow wireless transmissions to pass through. Ceramic makes it better at reducing heat and light going into the car than any other kind of tinting available.

You can get 99% infra red rejection from ceramic car tinting. You’re better protected from invisible rays in your car than in your house, although of course you can get ceramic tinting for that too. That little extra defense on your car goes a long way, lengthening the life span of your car’s interior. It saves you money and is actually very Eco-friendly.

Very well put Mark. Another plus to a ceramic tint is the actual heat resistance factor. Ceramic tint will be significantly cooler temperature wise than standard tint. Although your vehicle will still be hot if it sits outside, even with ceramic tint. Once you get the air going and cool things off, you won't feel the sting of the sun or the heat that you would with regular tint. For the money, ceramic tint is the way to go for performance of what tint should do.

+1 on Ceramic tint...the reduced radiant heat transfer is amazing! Will never go back to metalized or dye tints.
