I've posted it in the new forum, but I want everyone to see it like any proud father. 7920

This is a stock 2006 Cooper S JCW, but it is crazy fun to drive.

Nice *supercharged* JCW! I've got a 2003 JCW. Those turbo guys can't touch us...ha!

Thanks! I'm trying to pull together ideas on some additional mods for later in the year, but right now I'm just enjoying the drive.

Buying a MINI was harder than I thought. There are so many color combos combined with different spec's both from MINI and mods made in the used market. I looked around at quite a few, but when I found this one it all just fell into place. I drove both the turbo and supercharged engines. Coming from a DSG transmission with a turbo, I really like the feel of the supercharged manual.

Yep SC's are sweet and my preferred mode of transportation!!! LOL

A custom tune from Revolution Mini Works would really wake it up! ;)

I looked at the GP for sale in MO on NAM -- great car with very cool interior mods. I need to do a little research, but I am curious about the engine difference as I think the GP is listed with 10-15 more hp compared to a JCW.

The difference is mostly in a more aggressive tune.

It also has a bit larger intercooler with a tick less pressure drop and helps maintain HP a little longer on hard runs; doesn't heat soak quite as quick. Other than that they are the same as yours power wise.

A RMW tune will take you right past it! :)

The wheels are the 18" JCW R105s. They were a pretty solid selling point. They've got run flats on them right now, but I may go with a different tire next.
