Club Cookout
With only seeing the 4th of july firewoks planned for July I figured this may be a good time to have a cookout.
Address: 350 Blume Rd Mooresville NC 28117
http://www.google.com/maps?q=350+Blume+Rd,+Mooresville,+NC+28117,+USA&sa=X&oi=map&ct=title
Time: We will commence the cooking at 5pm, but if anyone would like to show up earlier say 3-4 you are welcome to.
We would ask that everyone bring a dish. I would like to keep the list of who will attend only to keep the amount of food needed in line. If anyone has any suggestions speak up. If we have enough people we can always have 2 people bring the same item to cut down on cost. :D I will ask Mark to send out a club Email with my phone numbers in case someone from the club needs to contact me for directions or any other time in the future.

1. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs
2. Baked Beans
3. Potato Salad
4. Fruit and veggie's
5. Condiments and Buns
6. Chips and Dip
7. Drinks and Ice
8.Desert

Great Casper We will be glad to have you.

Minianni I hope you drop the maybe, you are welcome to bring your dog if he needs watching. I just went through that with the German Sheperd I have had for the last year. He will not be here for the cookout. My sister finally moved to a place that she can have a large dog. So she has requested his return.

Put us down for Item 8 (desert). We need a head count between now and then. Also, your phone number would be helpful - especially since we are coming from Roanoke, Va.

Regarding deserts - is anyone coming diabetic or have any food allergies?

FTGT101
July 6th, 2007, 12:51 AM
Vango, sorry no real twisty's round here, but some really beautiful homes in the area and nice views of the lake.

Mini Rog, Not real sure about the time from Burlington, but it normally takes me a little over an hour to get into Winston. Of course this is with me driving.;)
I will email everyone with my phone number a couple of days before the cookout.

If my Brother will be in town I can get him to come by. He does the paintless dent repair. I will find out today. I do not know if anyone would actually need any or not, but I was planning on having him touch a couple of places on my M3 anyway.

Griff sorry you cannot make it. We have got to get together more. Maybe another twisssty drive soon?

Shoot, Daniel, I thought I'd already posted on here that the wifey is off today, (unusual, it's usualy Thu/Fri), and we're having a "date" day today--I'm just getting a reprieve while she does her hair before we go to a FruFRu lunch downtown. ;-)

Anyway, I DO want to see your garage floor and will do so at the first chance, the pic's look great. Have fun, all and thanks for hosting this!

Casper

Okay, we should be on the road within a few minutes. According to AAA, it is a little over 3 hours from Roanoke to Blume Road. We should see you around 4:00 - give or take. After we cross the I-77/I-40 intersection, we will have our radio on 20/20.

FTGT101
July 14th, 2007, 12:48 PM
Ahh good idea I will flip the radios on to the same. Thanks Casper.

Daniel, thanks for hosting the cookout, had a great time, just the way i like it,real layed back and informal.I really think we got a good thing goin'on,really cool people and some really nice cars.Maybe next time we can do it at my place,IF i can get permission to to use the ''common'' area they call it in my neighborhood,we would have use of picnic tables, permanent grill and of course the lake.I'll start working on that.Anyway, thanks again and to all that made trip to our neck of the woods, hope you enjoyed it.And a big thanks to Mark for doing the tail light mod to my car.
