Can I still come?

Is there a way to sign up at the last second? I was not able to come until I found out tonight that I can....(Yippee_ :emmersed:) So I am planning on trying to get a camp site at the last minute tomorrow night. Is there still room and can I participate? I am bringing my 18 year old son and want to expose him to the fun side of driving the dragon!!!

Several of them are already up there enjoying some snow and lack of Internet service. Pretty sure I can answer on their behalf and say, "Bring it on!!!" I'm sure everyone would be glad to see another MINI join in the fun. And doing it at the last minute as a spur of the moment kind of thing just adds to the You-ness!!!

I know that question was posed for an entirely different reason ... but it still seems appropriate ... not sure why we are running into such obstacles, but the hope is we'll still get there - today - even if it's barely still today.

Let's see the one time we decide to only take one MINI Troy's threw a bad cylinder code in Black Mountain .. just after 6pm so all local mechanics had gone home .. nursed it along and got to Asheville airport to pick up a rental ... where 5 of the 7 agencies were outta vehicles ... betcha the roads are covered with leaf peepers in rentals ... and now we have been stuck in the I-40 let's-squeeze-3-lanes-of-traffic-into-one standstill for an hour ...

But you know we're safe and we're on our way to catch up with our MINI friends even if we are MINIless for the weekend .. we'll just gain a new appreciation for a MINI in the mountains after a weekend in a Malibu, right? ;-)
