Hwy 421 North of Boone; "The Snake"

With all of the talk about the famed "Dragon" that I read on different forums, I've often wondered why no one has ever mentioned the section of US 421 North between Boone and Bristol, TN know as "The Snake". Now, having never been for a run on the "Dragon", I don't know how the two compare. I've made the trip between Boone and Bristol via "The Snake" a few times and must say that it is quite an interesting and at times breath taking drive. I've you like sharpe blind curves built on the side of a mountain this is it.:eek:

Is this a run the club may want to make in the future?

This is one the THP is also watching closely now. It is a nice ride, although when you go to the Dragon, you get many more very near to it. I would be up to do it sometime, though.
