I agree with you Rog. I tried this awhile back and got vetoed so to speak.
I'll throw out a few suggestions and let someone else make the decision..
Just off business 40 and 66 there is Hams, Brick Oven,
Bypass 40 and 66 there is Out West Steak House. ( can get pricey )
Business 40 and 150 there is Sage Brush, Indigo Joes Sports Bar, ( new and wide selection ) and a few other places..

Hey I would love to join the crowd sometime but my trouble is this...High Point is about one hour from my house. I get up at 4:45 to go to work...you get the picture...I am old and need "some" sleep...one day I need to schedule a day off and join you all. I am sure it is fun. If you move it closer to Greensboro it might work for me....like the airport area or something.

Nobody has come up with a place. So let's hear some ideas. We may have to try a few different venues till we (and this is NOT the corporate "we", the we singular) decide on something.

I will say this tho'. I will be hard pressed to go back to Liberty. The service sucks, especially tonight. We're still waiting for Bryan's extra toast for his crab dip.The food is mediocre at best. And the #1 reason for not going back is the so-so beer went up to $4.50.

Let's put our heads together and find a new place.

Andrew, We did try the Ruby Tuesdays on 68 down from the airport but it seemed expensive so we only went there once. I do not know that area that well to suggest something.

3.10.08 Monday again and I haven't heard anything about Liberty. May I suggest McAlister's Deli on Hwy 68 north of High Point as a trial alternative? My bike group meets there during the warmer months. The food is great, but not cheap. Soups, salads, sandwiches. Not sure if they serve beer (we don't drink and ride). Kind of a small place, and we usually eat out on the patio. Easy access from GSO, Winston and K'ville from 40. Also, there is more stuff farther up 68 towards the airport, but I am not familiar with any of them. More stuff closer in on 68 at Wendover intersection including a pub or two.
Shout out any ideas, don't let Mondays die! At least do Liberty once more to discuss alternatives. Who's coming tonight?

I decided to pass on coming out last night since there didn't seem to be a spot to go to. If you all figure out a new place let me know, I'd like for Kati and I to join in on the fun once again when possible.

If moving closer to W-S, how about Indigo Joe's in K-ville. Just off Business 40 and South Main Street. ( half mile from exit or less, behind Blockbuster video ) In parking lot with Petco pet store and beside a Starbucks. Wide range of food, and prices.
