Driving Shoes

I ordered a pair of Piloti driving shoes and they are really comfortable. I found a web site called Endless Shoes that carries a large selection of them and ships overnight for free. Some web reviews of this site say it is an Amazon.com owned site without the Amazon branding. Good reviews by all accounts I read. I ordered the Protipto Sport Driving Shoe and after a couple days of breakin they really fit and feel good. The sizes seem to be true to size for US sizing standards. They were delivered overnight as advertised and they pay return shipping on all returns as well. Not too shabby.

I got mine from outmotoring.com back when they first started selling them and got the discount (that was some good timing, right after I got my Mini). Personally, I have found them to be a shade on the small size.

Nice find, their prices seem in line and the free overnight shipping is a real savings too. PS: If you are sort of in between a size you should get the larger size.

Yep, get the next size up. They do fit snug all the way around. Had to adjust my laces a couple times till I got the right feel. Like a glove for your feet!

You can also opt for the standard shipping and save five dollars. That would get them to you in three days normally. I saw where someone said if you order more than one pair and want to save the five bucks, to order them one pair at a time and you will save five dollars per order.

The Piloti's look a lot more like "normal" shoes than my Simpson high tops, ;-) I might have to make the switch and stop looking like such a doofus at every meet. Thanks for the link!

Outmotoring.com also sells Piloti shoes and Aaron has been an A-Plus vendor to the Mini community for a very long time (also moving to Mooresville) it would be nice if we compared with him before buying.... Just a consideration.;)

Outmotoring did not have the shoes I wanted in stock and said they would have to order direct from Piloti. That is what prompted me to search the web. Once I decide to buy somthing I can never seem to find it. So when I came accross endless.com with lots of styles and sizes in stock and free overnight shipping I couldn't resist.

This might be a little late but ''Ross's had/have a sale going on and most stores have at least a little variety of styles and colors in varing sizes of Piloti's. I went to 3 different stores in my area this weekend and found 2 pairs of 11's,a 'G16 and a Protipto in blue on sale for $19.99 ea.these are new not rejects,but again,in limited sizes,styles and colors.I believe Midnight Dave can verify. There were several pair left in the University area but too small for me (9's / 10's) Mooresville also had a few pair left,again all smaller than 11 and no more blues.

Just wanted to jump in and say that if anyone needs Pilotis and can't wait for mail order.....Phantasm Motorsports in Downtown Raleigh carries about 6-7 styles in stock. They are not the cheapest out there but they are not the highest and they are very good to deal with.
