    Winter is here

Winter has fallen on the High Country, Low Landers beware, Skiiers pack up, it is a fine powder. Junior is under the fabric garage at least til Monday. This is our 3rd snow episode is about 4 days. The day has never gotten over 32 degrees, windy and very cold today. But the snow is beautiful and serene. We are frustrated Yankees, I guess, both growing up in Boston and Grand Rapids -- it feels right to us. We will tell you about it and live it and you can just enjoy the pix.

I had fun going to work this morning! We did not have as much snow as you X5RJ.

Sides and Boot are doing great, but I am still fighting with the bonnet. I do not think the bonnet are going to make it

How well does the MINI perform in the snow. Do you have Blizzaks or other Winter tires on? It looks like you had to give it a few tries to get where you were going. Great thing about working from home, it is an easy commute.

I drove by Sugar Mtn this afternoon. They are making snow to go along the natural stuff. They have a 30" base already. There are getting ready for the Thanksgiving rush. We are supposed to get more snow Thurs. and Fri.

My MINI performed great in the snow, the tracks behind me was from a Subaru Outback, that did not want to climb the small incline. I drove into the same spot just to prove a point hehehehe!

    It might be an obsession.

I just got out of two winters in Chicago with all season tires on s-lites... the only concern is the low ride height not grip. The DSC is quite impressive when you do screw up. Just 4+ inches can keep you down.

Ahh, it does have its percs; not getting above freezing for over 3 days, with single digit temps at night and 20-40 mph winds -- all tend to keep you indoors, though. And, it is far from the big city things you take for granted. One reason, we buy just about everything except groceries, online.
