New R53 body kit coming out

I received an e-mail today from SF Inc. showing me their new body kit for the R53 MINI.

I tried to "borrow" some of the pics, but they are copy protected. So, here is the direct link: http://www.estrictlyforeign.com/news...22&hpdetail_id=

    Interesting, clean lines, has possibilities.

Now the SHOCKER. Regular price: $5400

But, you can get one of the remaining kits being shipped now for only $4500.

Personally, i don't care for it although it looks aero efficient, just don't like the style as much as the Mini aero kit.Just my .02.

That's funny, I was at their site yesterday myself to look at their kit. I like it, mainly just because it is different, and not in a gaudy way but smooth..
Price is pretty steep, but you got to pay to play around here!!!

Agree with Bryan, this is maybe the cleanest wide body kit I've seen! Most kits look like pieces bolted to the car but the fenders flair out and transition to the bumpers clean!! When you consider that it looks like all new bumpers, a panels, hood, rear fenders, etc the price really isn't that bad. Only thing I'm not sure about is the gaping mouth Evo/Audi front grill, but it's growing on me!!! I give it a !

The Mini is gone but not forgotten, what a ride it has been with the best people, the best Mini club and most fun little car I have ever owned!!!

I'm not sure I call that a "MINI" anymore, it's so radically restyled.... but I like it.

Yeah, that's one way to make a statement right there.

Also, what happened to the side marker lights? There's a weird seam there.

Has a kind of Nissan GT-R grill...

...maybe why it is called the GT-R kit?

If ya painted the part where the front license plate is body color, it would break it back up to a upper and lower grill...
