THMMC Pay It Forward Photo Game

Was cruising around some forums tonight and ran across this game at the PhillyMINI site, who found it over at the M3Forum.net site. (Note - these links go directly to the game threads at those sites if you want to get an idea for how it works) Looks like it could potentially be fun, so I figured I would shamelessly rip it off and start it going over here.

How to play:

Pick a person, place, or thing to take a picture with that has YOUR MINI in it. The first person who responds with the picture that satisfies the request gets a point and gets to pick the next request.

Please try to make the requests do-able so that the game can continue.

RULES - PLEASE READ
1) No photochop. (shop, yes. chop, no)

2) Please only post pictures of YOUR MINI, this way you will actually have to go out and take a picture if necessary. YOUR MINI means your actual MINI that you drive - not any scale replicas/models that you own.

3) No dupes - let's be creative.

4) If you are the poster who meets the picture challenge, please put your next request in a BOLD and CAPITALIZED font so it's easy to find (maybe even use some color). Note that as the poster of the challenge, you are not eligible to participate in your own challenge unless required to do so per rule #5 below.

5) IF the challenge isn't met within 7 days the person who put the challenge up then has 24 hours to complete the challenge themselves. If they cannot complete their own challenge, they are docked one point and then pick a new challenge.

6) No challenge is to be made that involves any of the following:

• Illegal activities (this includes, but is not limited to: drugs, street racing, thievery, and sexual activities).
• Guns
• Real currency (the participants of this game will not be limited to those with immediate access to large amounts of funds. There is one thing that we each share, regardless of the size of our bank accounts - and that is the fact that we each drive some flavor of one of the greatest cars ever made.)
• Nudity or NSFW stuff.
• Destruction of one's own property, anyone else's property, or any public property.
• A reference to a specific, past event

7) A picture or drawing of a thing or place or person is not the thing or place or person. (Guidance - e.g. MINI with an eagle - you cannot draw or print a picture of an eagle and hold it up next to your MINI. A statue or stuffed toy of an eagle, or a picture of an eagle on the sign of a commercial business that you had to drive your MINI to, may count depending on the wording of the challenge.)

8) A subset or part of a thing or place or person is not the thing or place or person and vice versa. (Guidance - e.g. a steak is not a cow and a pig is not bacon.)

Please remember that here at THMMC we try to be family friendly. If you look at some of the other clubs doing this, they have gone off into some tangents that I don't think would be welcome here and I'd just as soon not have to police that kind of stuff. Let's keep it clean and fun!

Enhancing an image of a MINI at the beach (contrast, sharpness, etc) is Photoshop.

Taking an image of a MINI in your yard and dropping it into an image of the beach is PhotoCHOP.

Only a couple more days to meet my challenge - A MINI WITH A FIRE TRUCK.

As insurance, I got a (poor) pic of my MINI with a fire truck, so I can defend if necessary per the rules!

Wow, no one with a fire truck? I hope it is just because everyone has been snowed in. So, to meet the rule, here is a sorry pic that meets the requirements. Some times the challenge may require you to go on a scavenger hunt. Other times, a little bit of luck and having a camera handy at all times pays off.

So I'm going to go little easier on everyone. You shouldn't even have to go do any work on this one. But if I manage to win another challenge, I may not go so easy on everyone. Of course, the real challenge is going to be whether anyone not subscribed to the thread can find it and reply fast enough to hold off any of those already getting e-mail updates.
