TWISTERWe are going to do a quick run up Highway 66 for some great twisties in preparation of the DRAGON in May.
We'll meet at Lowe's Hardware in Winston-Salem off University Parkway off Highway 52 north on the right just off the exit at 11AM.
I'm dedicating this annual run to our late great member Rob Baker. Rob (better know as Bullfrog) was one of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Rob loved Highway 66 and I only think it's fitting to hold a yearly event in his honor.

Lunch plans are going to be...
Bring your own picnic lunch to eat at Hanging Rock State Park.
We'll try to find a shelter or somewhere we can all be to enjoy a bit of downtime before running 66 home to Winston and beyond.
My plan is to pick up a sub from Subway in the morning in the Lowe's parking lot.

Our club was started as a way for MINI Cooper owners and enthusiasts to get together, hang out, talk and learn from each other, and drive some of the greatest roads found in NC & Va!

Looking forward to it. Did this run last year and the roads were great. Don't forget Hanging Rock State Park as well.

What would everyone think to adding a couple twist to this years Bullfrog!!!
1- So that all can enjoy the run and be comfortable with the pace... After meeting at Lowe's we split the group up into two groups; one being a SS (Sunday Slider) group which will run at the SS pace and a second group that will be lead at a more comfortable but still spirited pace!!! Both groups leaving from the same place and arriving at the same place!
2- Sense the turnout for the Bullfrog runs has been growing every year and it's getting harder to park and eat; we all bring a simple lunch for a Club picnic at Hanging Rock! We'll have more time to goof at each others MINIs and enjoy more club fellowship in a scenic venue!!!
Post up your thoughts?

I'm in for Mark's idea!! This helps people go at a pace comfortable for them and they don't feel the need to push past their own comfort level. I'm good either way with the lunch.
